A look at what's been happening....

We are pleased to say there's another defib available, this time quite a bit outside the area we've previously been involved with.

One of the examiners at the Driving Test Centre at Shireoaks got in touch as he'd been fundraising by selling teas and coffees for quite some time to get a defib there.

He'd actually done an outstanding job, having raised enough to buy one at the prices that we can buy them for, but DVLA rules meant he wasn't able to physically buy one. However, the rules did say he could make a donation to charity and that's where we came in!

We dropped it round to him and the company in the unit next to them, Mint Security, very kindly agreed to do the install, how kind is that?

It's great when people work together like this for the benefit of the local area. Many thanks to all involved.
